ASTERIA SUEDE
Our bespoke Asteria suede, with its luxurious velvety nap, has been specifically developed to create the perfect suede leather to make the best unlined shoes, not requiring a second layer of lining. We use only the finest selection of top-grain Mediterranean lambs that are slowly tanned by an artisanal family run tannery.
The slow, artisanal tannage uses traditional ingredients and no chemicals, allowing the leathers to dry naturally as the time-consuming secret to the unique properties of this buttery-soft suede. These leathers, the finest suede you'll find, guarantee a glove-like fit from the very first step.

Care
After use always allow the shoes to dry at room temperature, away from direct heat. If your shoes have got wet, you may roll-up some paper and insert it inside the shoes. If you have dirt or mud on your suede shoes, make sure they are completely dry before brushing with suede brush.

Import Taxes and Duties
Shipments to the UK, US, and countries within the European Union, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, will not incur any additional charges upon delivery. For all other destinations, taxes and duties may be applicable and are determined by local customs regulations.

We offer free exchanges or returns in case you are not fully satisfied with your purchase.
To initiate the process, contact contact@baudoinlange.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned in unworn condition with original packaging. Refunds appear within 5 working days of receiving returned goods. Note that duties and/or taxes cannot be refunded.
To ensure fair use of our returns service, a restocking fee applies where three (3) pairs or more are returned from a single online order. In such cases, Baudoin & Lange may deduct a fee equal to 15% of the total order value from the refund to cover handling, shipping, duties, and processing costs. This will always be clearly reflected in the final refund confirmation.

First exclusively commissioned and co-created by Japanese menswear icon Shuhei Nishiguchi, our Men's Buckle loafer is now available globally for this season. Inspired by classic American 1970s preppy chic. Crafted in our signature butter-soft bespoke Asteria suede leathers these loafers feature a handsome calf leather monkstrap with hand-finished gold-plated brass bottier buckles.
Each Sagan Loafer is entirely handmade in our Atelier de Manufacture, following a bespoke and meticulous methodology involving hundreds of time-honoured steps.
Each pair of loafers is signed by our recognisable hand-struck 3 golden dots: the mark of its maker.

Material - Asteria Suede with Noble Calf StrapOur very own Asteria suede has been specifically developed to have a suede leather to make quality shoes that does not require a second layer of lining, that naturally stretches to adapt to the wearer and to show a luxurious velvety nap. For this we use only a prime selection of Mediterranean leathers that are slowly tanned by an artisanal family run tannery.
The strap on this shoe is crafted from box calf. To combine the sophisticated look of traditional box calf with a surprising degree of softness we have sourced a special breed of calf from the hills of Central Europe . Its leather has a very tight, resistant fibre and yet is very supple compared to calf leather traditionally used on formal Sagans. The leather is pure aniline dyed so that the base colour penetrates deeply into the fibres of the leather leaving the top surface uncoated and breathable.
CareAfter any use always allow the Sagans to dry at room temperature. If you have dirt or mud on your Sagans, gently brush them with a soft brush or cloth.
Try them on, worry-free. If you are not perfectly satisfied with your shoes, return or exchange them within 28 days, no questions asked. All products are shipped with trackable UPS and DHL Express shipping services.
